It`s set in the Pacific Northwest and it features beautiful, dangerous and misunderstood creatures as it`s main draw. Obviously, the show is angling towards drawing a parallel between the plight of the sirens and what climate change is doing to the oceans and also with the #MeToo movement with a potential reckoning with the town- whose misogynist and crazy founder slaughtered the sirens back in the day.
