The laughs are few and far between and everything feels forced if not downright ridiculous. Some of the material was actually embarrassing. It had once been my opinion that quality actors could help weak material succeed but I have rethought who is a quality actor. Martin Sheen may be the one saving (ahem!) grace in that his performance is, at least somewhat nuanced and believable. The...
