With over 25 years in the fire and ems service, I have to say this is one of the most disappointing tv shows about the fire service I have ever seen. You have made a mockery of those of us who have proudly served our communities and worn the uniform. You have no idea what it is like to stare death in the face, you have no idea what it is truely like to have someone die in front of you, you have no idea what it is like to really save a life, you have no idea what it is like to watch a family as they are told their loved one or their child is DEAD. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOSE A BROTHER IN THE FIRE SERVICE OR LAW ENFORCEMENT!! To those who have watched this show, while we do have our interesting moments and calls, this is not how us REAL firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement officers live our lives and do our jobs, we do not run around in fire trucks with the lights and sirens on chasing women and/or men and have sex with them....this show was written and produced with very poor taste!! Only the emotion at then end was anywhere close to showing the true emotional bond that we have with one another...can`t wait to see what what poor taste the next episode holds..this first episode totally offends me!!
