At times the story for Edward and Alphanse is melancholy. The boys lose there mother. They lose their bodies. A new day begins while the day ends on the other end of the world. This is the story of Full Metal Alchemist. A story that nothing can be gained without losing something else. Conversely, nothing can be lost without gaining something in return.
